Illiteracy rate in rural China is high. Common problems in providing educational opportunities for children include lack of school facilities, learning materials and supplies, and financial problems of families to send children to school.

Lynck Foundation is helping rural Chinese communities by providing more educational opportunities for children via the following:

1. Building new elementary schools in rural areas.
2. Prvoding financial support for student tuitions and supplies.
3. Providing scholarships for higher education in China.

Medical conditions of people in rural China is far worse than those in urban areas. Even basic medical care can be difficult to attain owing to lack of medical personnel and resources.

Lynck Foundation provides free medical services to needy people in rural China.
