Ms Mu is the founder of Abundance Learning Institute Corp and a pioneer in life training within the Chinese community in the Bay Area. She holds a master's degree in multimedia education from San Jose State University and obtained her qualifications as a life trainer from Coach University in 1995. As a member of the International Coach Federation, Ms Mu has held many life training and communication skills workshops and seminars specializing in family as well as workplace relationships.

Dr Chen holds a bachelor degree in Sociology from the National University of Taiwan and a master's degree and PhD in early education from the University of Oregon. She set up her own parent support group in 1991 and since then has been actively working with various groups and organizations in the Bay Area and giving talks and seminars on parenting issues.
